The developer that became a household name in the 1990s with Super NES titles like Star Fox and the Starglider series is already following up on its Croc: Legend of the Gobbos remaster with the classic game's sequel.Croc 2 Kingdom of the Gobbos is currently in development and targeting a Q4 2026 release, and yes, it will sport that original working title (for more nostalgic gaming action, see our pick of the best retro games consoles). However, his journey becomes a showdown as his arch-nemesis, Baron Dante, is resurrected by the Dantinis and vows revenge. The quest takes Croc through four villages, where he rescues captured Gobbos and faces off against a roster of Guardians, including Soveena the Squid.Argonaut promises enhanced visuals and a range of quality-of-life improvements.
