If you have a phone to trade in, AT&T will give you up to $1,900 off the new Fold 8 -- paying the full price of the new phone. The Z Fold 8 weighs just 201 grams, making it the lightest Z Fold yet -- about the size of a passport. For one, your trade-in device needs to be worth at least $290 to be eligible. You'll also need to sign up for an AT&T Premium 2.0 plan or higher, starting at $100 per month plus taxes and fees. You'll be paid back the $1,900 in bill credits over the course of 36 months. If you cancel your service, the credits will stop, and you'll need to pay the remaining balance on the device.
