He's using an increasingly popular free and open-source game engine to invite people into his enchanting animated worlds. He's gone from animating in Blender, the free 3D modelling software to creating a video game with his artwork in Godot Engine, one of the best game development software programs, and it looks beautiful.Moonlit drink (Blender + Photoshop + EbSynth + After Effects) from r/blenderThe video Moonlit Drink (above) shows the distinctive animation style that James has been developing through a hybrid 3D and 3D workflow.
