Since the 2022 release of the $20 Moondrop Chu, companies like Truthear, Simgot, Moondrop, and more recently Ooopus have released countless IEMs with various sound profiles that all represent excellent value. And right now many of these heavy hitters are enjoying discounts in Shenzhenaudio's summer sale. Just to be clear – these are excellent value at full price, so they're an absolute steal discounted. And just to prove my point, 5 of the 10 IEMs below are featured in my list of the best budget IEMs on the market today, so this is a really strong sale. Moondrop Lan This is the IEM to beat at the $50 mark, and at $42 I think it's a no-brainer to buy. Similar to the Gate, the Lan offers tasteful bass with a vocal-forward mid presentation, and a fairly spicy treble. I think there's more mid bass to the Lan, and so the treble feels more balanced than the Gate to my ears. Highly recommended. Moondrop Space Travel 2 This is one of my favourite-sounding TWS, and I also love the look of it. It comes with a neutral, balanced sound signature, but it also comes with PEQ, so you can really make it sound how you want. Extremely great value! Truthear Pure If you want a slightly more warm take on neutral, the Pure is for you. Tuned by expert reviewer Listener (Griffin Silver), compared to the Hexa the Pure offers a fuller low end, a richer midrange and a more relaxed treble. ooopusX Op.22 I just finished my review of the insanely-named Ooopus Op.22 IEM, and I'm a big fan. Unlike every other IEM on this list, it comes with two sound profiles: a balanced/bright take on neutral, which I think many audiophile beginners will like, and the same with a bass boost (which is a lot of fun). Moondrop Old Fashioned I've not yet had ears on this one, but I love the aesthetic, and reviews note that it sounds decent for the admittedly cheap build. At $23 I'm seriously tempted to grab myself a pair. Truthear Hexa A classic discounted! The Hexa offers a lean, neutral sound that some call analytical. It's definitely more neutral than the vast majority of IEMs at this price point, though it may be too bright for some. Simgot EW300 This IEM also offers a slightly warm, engaging U-shape sound profile, with a whopping good sub bass. The upper-midrange sounds a little recessed, but that's mainly due to the elevated bass and treble. End result is things aren't grating, as with many other IEMs at this price range. Moondrop Pudding First, how can you not love a TWS called Pudding?! Second of all, it sounds really good – well beyond its $50 price tag. It also looks both sophisticated and delicious at the same time. Yum! Truthear Gate The Gate has been on my list of the best budget IEMs because I think its take on the V-shape sound signature is pretty fun. It's clean, bright with a tasteful bass boost, and though I think the upper midrange is a little too much some times, it's still a steal at $21. Truthear X Crinacle Zero: Red Crinacle may have inadvertently ushered in an age of 'neutral with bass boost' IEMs, but when you see how well it can be done, as with the Red, I'm happy he did. I think the highlight is the texture you get with the bass here, while not relying on overly bright treble. Moondrop x Crinacle DUSK OK, this is not a budget IEM at all – but it's one of the best mid-priced IEMs out there, and potentially an end game option for a lot of audiophiles. The Dusk has earned its reputation as one of the best midrange-tuned IEMs on sale, and at $360 I think now is a great time to pick one up. Softears Volume S Again, let's not pretend that this is budget – even at its discounted price of $280 this is a massive investment. But the Softears Vol S topped the best of 2025 list of the best IEMs for many a reviewer for a reason. And that reason is one of the best midranges that you can buy, backed up with a really strong bass. This is one IEM I am incredibly keen to get my ears on!
